How much money do I need to start? Do I really need marketing? Will I need legal services? What’s my first step?
Just a few of the first questions many ask themselves and others when trying to start a business. I know I did.. and more, much more!
Well, now there’s an avenue for help and awesome help at that. Today I met with Darcelle Runciman [more about her in a future post!] who is the Enterprise Facilitator for Communities with Opportunities in Hastings County. Enterprise Facilitation helps communities grow and develop by helping local businesses and people who want to start a business by doing it through local resources. People who have services, knowledge, products, and more that they can lend a hand to the growing or start up business owners. It’s a great way for an existing business to gain and network while lending a hand to Entrepreneur’s who need the extra hand while starting out. It’s a win-win-win situation for the community, existing professional, and the new entrepreneur.
When I spoke with Darcelle, Pat Hennigar a local Royal LePage agent and committee member, along with 5 other interested individuals all whom are accomplished in their respected fields you could feel the positive attitude towards such a project. One even mentioned how they wished it had been here years ago when they first started. I think this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to succeed with their ideas.
Darcelle was great. She really loves what she does and I look forward to working with her and helping others in the future. She’s in the Hastings County which consists of 14 municipalities. This service is free and confidential for the client. Check it all out at www.investinhastings.ca under start a business and also people can look at www.sirolli.com
I recommend anyone who needs the hand or is looking to start their own business venture check it out. I also highly recommend anyone who’s interested in lending their resources to check it out. We’re extremely excited about this and the opportunity this brings to us as well as others. We at umarketing! feel honoured to be asked to join and help, it’s a big opportunity for all involved! It should be exciting and I can’t wait for my first opportunity to help out!
Andruw, out!
